Our club meeting at the CTARC was really interesting , the topic Stealth antenna in a HOA. Stephan ZS1SKL presented his EFHW cunningly disguised between two trees with the feedline buried under the paving in a PVC conduit. His linked dipole on a 10m fibreglass and wood combination , deployable within seconds and painted a beatiful green dissapearing in the brush when hidden alongside the paving. This goes to show if there is a will, there is a way. Three of remaining members of the Bouvet DXpedition also joined the meeting and provided a brief chat on the weather conditions, operating parameters and some bathing in a melted ice dam or pool. We were even enlightened about disintegrating antenna due to the weather and the other challenges they experienced. With a total of just over 100 000 contacts in two weeks, the dedication was evident despite natures fury!!! Thanks to the 3Y0K team, it was a truly amazing experience to meet you.
